He is best known as "Mr. Gary" as he has faithfully served as a 2nd grade Sunday School teacher for more than 25 years. The Lord has been so very good to us with the gift of four amazing children. Favorite Bible Verses:
Proverbs 3: 5-6 I have continually seen God to be trustworthy and faithful throughout my life. This verse continually reminds me that God is sovereign over all things. Experiencing His guidance, ever-presence and continual love bring me such peace and direction. Trusting Him in all things brings peace, assurance, comfort & strength.

Romans 12: 1-2 Gary & I sang a song to each other at our wedding based on this scripture passage. We want our lives to be His, used up as an act of worship to Him. Always learning from Him, in our mistakes and failures, and continually clinging to the Lord as we strive to seek Him.

Favorite book of the Bible: I have a lot of favorite books in the Bible for sure. Philippians would be one of my favorites. I love how God’s Words proclaimed through Paul, teaches us so much Biblical truth for our daily walk with Christ, striving for holiness. Paul reminds us of who he was and the transformational power of God in his life. He continually reminds us of who God is and the importance of keeping Christ the center of our lives. Great verses for Christian living. Awesome reminders of being content in all things and always striving for joy. Also a great reminder that our citizenship is not here on this earth but in heaven. Every day let us be heavenly focused, striving to live a life to bring God much glory and honor.

Favorite Bible character: Joseph is one of my favorite Bible characters. I love to see God at work throughout his life. Joseph continually sought God knowing He is faithful and trustworthy. No matter what situation he faced, he knew God was in control. I love how Joseph acknowledges to his brothers that he went thru each trial to be placed exactly where God wanted him to be. “And now do not be distressed or angry with yourselves because you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life…….And God sent me before you to preserve for you a remnant on earth, and to keep alive for you many survivors. So it was not you who sent me here, but God” (Gen. 45: 5-8a). God used Joseph to save a remnant of His people, to continue to fulfill His promises. God is worthy of all of our worship and deserves all glory and honor.
