Shelby Howell
Director of Older Preschool Ministries
Shelby was born and raised in Palestine, Texas, and after high school, attended Texas A&M University in College Station, where she earned a B.S. in Education. Shelby and her family moved to Oklahoma in 2016 and quickly found a home at FBC Mustang. She has served in the Preschool Ministry since 2018 and previously served as the Parent's Day Out Director. Shelby finds it an absolute joy and blessing to partner with families and help lay a foundation of faith in the hearts of little ones.
Family: I’ve been married to my husband, Jeffrey, since 2011. We grew up in the same small town, started dating in high school, and both attended Texas A&M University. We now have three wonderful children: Olivia (2015), Juliette (2017), and Henry (2020).
Life Verse: Proverbs 3:5-6 —"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."
Favorite Book of the Bible: My favorite book of the Bible is Psalms.
Favorite Bible Character: My favorite Bible character is Esther
Hobbies: I enjoy spending quality time with family, getting lost in a good audiobook, and making memories with my husband and kids whenever we get the chance.

Favorite Meal: My favorite meals are anything Italian and Mexican
Favorite Vacation Spot: Grand Cayman and Colorado hold a special place in my heart, as I’ve been traveling to both since I was a young child. I have loved taking my kids back and making memories with them there.
Something people may not know about you that they would find interesting: During my years at Texas A&M, I never attended a midnight yell or a football game at Kyle Field — please don’t hold it against me, fellow Aggies!
